Making A Purchase
We reserve the right to change these terms and conditions at any time. Any such changes will take effect when posted on the website and it is your responsibility to read the terms and conditions on each occasion you use this website and your continued use of the website shall signify your acceptance to be bound by the latest terms and conditions.
Making a purchase could not be easier. Just browse our store, and add any items that you wish to buy into the shopping cart. After you have finished your selection, click on 'Checkout' and you will be asked for a few details that we need to be able to complete the order.
When confirmation of order is received, this is to indicate that we have received your order. It does not indicate that a contract exists between us. We will indicate acceptance of your order, and hence a contract between us, when we send you an invoice. We have included this term to protect us in the case that a mistake has been made in pricing, we have inadvertently under-priced goods, or we are no longer able to supply a particular product for some reason. Terms & Conditions of Sale
1 All goods are supplied Inco term Ex-Works (EXW). The ownership in any goods shall remain vested in us until Orchard Products UK Ltd has received full payment.
2 Orders are accepted on the condition that prices to be charged are those ruling at that date of despatch and whilst every endeavour will be made to deliver goods on the date requested, this does not impose any legal obligation on us to meet such delivery date.
3 The right is reserved to withdraw any item without any notice.
4 Carriage to UK addresses for orders in excess of £150.00 (ex VAT) is free of charge, delivery will normally take between 5 and 7 working days. Orders with a net value under £150.00 incur a minimum delivery charge of £8.95, which may increase for bulky or heavy items. For small UK orders placed before 12 noon our carriers offer a next day service, for the UK mainland only, at the following rates;
4.1 Next day - £18.00 (including VAT)
4.2 Next Day before 12 noon - £40.00 (including VAT)
4.3 Next Day before 10.30 am - £24.00 (including VAT)
4.4 Next Day Saturday Before 12 noon - £35.00 (including VAT)
4.5 Next Day Saturday Before 10:30 am - £45.00 (including VAT)
5 Invoices must be paid within 30 days of the invoice date. All payments must be in UK pounds sterling. The Company reserves the right to close the account or withhold further supplies of its products from any customer who does not pay within this period, without prejudice, however to any existing rights the Company may have in respect of such unpaid invoices in accordance with Clause 6.
6 The right is reserved to withhold or refuse deliveries or cancel orders accepted of further goods to customers whose payment are in arrears, or who are otherwise indebted to Orchard Products UK Ltd or whose indebtedness is in excess of any limit from time to time imposed by Orchard Products UK Ltd at their discretion.
7 Interest on overdue accounts may be charged at the rate of 2.5% per calendar month, or part month.
8 Faulty goods should be returned direct to Orchard Products UK Ltd within seven days of receipt. On receipt at Orchard Products UK Ltd the goods will be inspected and if found to be prima facie faulty, the goods will be replaced or credited at the net price paid. All suspected faulty goods must have our Returns Number quoted on the package and we will advise at the time the Returns Number is given how the goods are to be returned.
9 Liability for goods damaged in transit will not be accepted unless notification is made to the Sales Order Processing Department of Orchard Products UK Ltd within seven working days of delivery.
10 Liability for goods shortages will not be accepted unless notification is made to the Sales Order Processing Department of Orchard Products UK Ltd within seven working days of delivery.
11 No claims for non-delivery of your complete order will be allowed unless the company is advised within 21 days from the days you placed your order for UK Customers or 35 days from the days you placed your order for overseas Customers.
12 Customer error; If a customer makes an error in placing an order, which causes incorrect or duplicate shipments, Orchard Products UK Ltd may allow at it absolute discretion, return of the excess merchandise with a 25% handling charge. This will be deducted by means of credit note once the undamaged goods have been received. The customer must pay all return delivery charges, Orchard Products UK Ltd will not arrange collection. Returns will not be accepted under any
; circumstances for special orders items. .";
13;. ,We will not accept any return of goods of any edible items for any reason whatsoever.
14 No purported variation of these condition will be valid or binding on Orchard Products UK Ltd unless given in writing and signed by a duly authorised Head Office Representative.
15 VAT will be charged at the rate in force on the invoice date.
Shipping And Handling
Please see our delivery info tag in our catalogue page (first page). Delivery cost for all orders received from outside UK will be charged as per schedule or at cost.
Our aim is to dispatch the orders on the day of completion (Mon- Fri). Depends on the weight, size of the order, location of delivery we use Royal Mail post or by Next Day (non guaranteed) courier services. However due to nature of postal service we cannot guarantee the delivery date. If we foresee any delay, we will try our best to keep you inform. If you need any item urgently, please call us; we will try our best to find any alternative arrangement.
Lost or damage while in transit
We take every care possible while packing your order. However any loss or damage incurs while in transit is beyond our control. While our courier companies can make compensation for any loss or damages, while in transit, it is limited to statutory limit amount ( set by the EEC) based on weight of the parcel. For any high value orders it may not be adequate. If you are worried about any loss or damages while in transit, you may consider taking insurance at an additional cost. Please let us know with your order number if you would like to know the cost of such insurance for your parcel. We will inform you the total shipping cost including additional insurance cost before proceeding with the order.
We endeavour to dispatch your order within two days of receiving your order. However sometime we may have to wait a few days longer to receive our stock from our suppliers. In these cases it may take up to 5-7 days for the dispatch. If your order is urgent, please let us know so can let you know of any likely delay.
Once you place your order, you will receive an automated e-mail from us confirming the order. If you have not receive the email, please have a look in your email spam folder. It may be treated as spam mail by your email system.
If you have not received the order or not heard from us within 10 days, please contact us immediately. Most cases the delivery company may have taken it back to their depot as there is no one to collect the parcel at the delivery address.
We do not back order any items which are not in stock and we will inform you right away,
However with your permision we may delay the delivery to include any items which are out of stock

Please note that you will be responsible for the costs of returning the items to us unless we delivered the item to you in error, or if the item is damaged or defective. Any superficial scratch or dent are not an indication of defective product and we reserve the right to refuse of refund of returning the cost of such returned items.
No postage will be refunded. In the event of any partial return, if your order value becomes less than the free delivery limit, your order will attract the standard delivery charge as at the time of delivery.
